Mukti’s Board of Directors
The Mukti Mission US Board of Directors serves as the policy-making entity, governance structure, and oversight committee of our US operations. The Board of Directors serves to set policy and oversee the operations of Mukti Mission US. We strive to be transparent in our dealings and adhere to standards as set forth by ECFA and Guidestar Exchange.
Executive Committee
These individuals serve as the legal backbone of the organization.
President
Catherine Sweeting – Catherine has served as our Board President since 2021. She has made multiple visits to the Mission and has been a faithful supporter for over fifteen years. Catherine is a Professor of Literature at a local college in New Jersey.
Vice-President
Bindu Varughese – Bindu has served on our Board since 2022. She has visited the Mission and has been a faithful supporter. Bindu works in the non-profit sector in New Jersey.
Treasurer
Joseph Shalhoub – Joe has served as our Treasurer since 2018. He has made multiple visits to the Mission and has been a faithful supporter for over twelve years. Joe works for Kroll, LLC in New Jersey.
Secretary
Parinita Job – Parinita has served on our Board since 2022. Parinita works in the IT sector in Pennsylvania.

Rep
Renuka Rathnam – Renuka has served on our Board since 2020. She has been a faithful supporter for over fifteen years. Renuka works in the insurance industry on the East Coast.
Rep
Deborah Presnell – Debbie has served as our VP since 2019. She has visited the Mission and has been a faithful supporter for over five years. Debbie is a nationally recognized speaker, author, and the Founder of Shine Camp.
Rep
William Sweeting – Bill has served on our Board since 2021. He has visited the Mission on several occasions and has been a faithful supporter for over fifteen years. Bill serves as a pastor in a church in New Jersey.

David Babu-Peddamudium – David has served on our Board since 2021. He has visited the Mission and has been a faithful supporter for over twelve years. David works in the non-profit sector in the Philadelphia region.
Rep
Mary-Ann Salvatore – Mary-Ann has served on our Board for over twenty years. She has made over thirty visits to the Mission sometimes staying for months at a time and has been a faithful supporter for over thirty years. Mary-Ann is a retired educator living in New Jersey.
