MUKTI MISSION’S 15% SUSTAINABILITY FUND

Mukti Mission handles the expenses associated with running our US operations differently than some other organizations. We utilize 15% of every dollar invested to keep our operations sustainable. Our office exists so that you can invest in the Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission.

Many organizations include administration expenses in their program expenses. This is entirely legal and is broken out in their IRS Form 990s. However, it is hard to determine exactly how much goes into the actual program. Mukti Mission feels that YOU deserve to know exactly where YOUR money goes. When we say the campaign needs to raise $10,000 to be completed, we use 15% of your investment for our operations here in the US, and then YOU can be assured that the remainder goes entirely to India.

Remember: Mukti Mission US only exists so that YOU can bring Hope, Healing, and Life to the women and children at Mukti. Indian law prohibits funds to be sent from an individual in the US directly to the Mission in India. Therefore, we are the legal conduit of funds from the US to India.
