Guidelines and Suggestions for a Prayer Cell

Prayer is the critical avenue to support and promote the Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission. It is of more value and power than monetary resources.

How to Organize a Prayer Cell:

• Determine whether you have a passion for praying for the Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission, in India
• Prayerfully consider the commitment you will need to invest to envigorate an effective Prayer Cell
• Make a list of friends and acquaintances who might join you in prayer for Mukti
• Invite those you have selected to be a part of your Prayer Cell – be sure to clearly communicate the purpose of the Prayer Cell and the time (and place) of prayer
• Your Prayer Cell can be either conducted face-to-face, on the phone, or via ZOOM (or similar)

Suggestions for Conducting the Prayer Cell:

• Begin promptly at the announced time, and do not get into the habit of waiting for late arrivals
• Open the prayer time by reading the words of a worship song or reading a selection of verses from the Bible that apply to prayer
• Go over the monthly e-Prayer page (you can receive this by requesting to be placed on the list – email request to executive.director@muktimission.us)
• This is specifically a time to pray for Mukti Mission, be careful not to allow it to become a general prayer time or even a gossip time
• Plan to spend at least 20 minutes (or more) in prayer. Note: Conver­sational type prayer is the best style to engage all present

• Use the printed Mukti Magazine, e-Mukti Digital Magazine, and Facebook posts to assist the Prayer Cell in praying intelligently
